Religious funerals
Religious funerals are usually presided over by a religious leader who will guide the service. They can take place a church, crematorium, cemetery or their place of worship. The service will usually include prayers, a sermon and readings, though we can discuss the order of service as we help you plan the funeral. Certain faiths prefer burials over cremation, and we will ensure that we honor requests nad customs as closely as we can.
Non religious funerals
Also known as a humanist funeral, a non religious service will focus on the person and their life, rather than religious rites and readings. The service is usually led by a celebrant and contains poems or music that meant something to your loved one. Each person is different, however we will ensure that their non religious funeral is unique and tailored to them.
Multi faith funerals
Sometimes people prefer to blend faith traditions together, making small changes or additions to make sure that everyone is included. If you feel that a multi faith funeral would be appropriate, please let us know. We work with celebrants across Carmarthen, Llanybydder, Llanwrda and the surrounding areas, and can suggest someone we feel would be a good match.
