What to expect from our chapel of rest
Our chapel is ideal for any funeral service: religious (any belief) and non religious and it provides a calm space where you can visit your loved one before the funeral. Many people prefer this, as it can give you the opportunity to say goodbye in your own time, and be alone together without an audience. Personally we think that this is an important part of the grieving process and lets you see your loved one at peace.
Arranging an appointment
Although you can see your loved one at any time, we find that an appointment systems works best. This way, you and your family can have as much time as you need, without feeling rushed. If you would like to arrange an appointment so that you can see them, please contact our funeral home in Pencader and we'll make all the necessary arrangements.
Dressing your loved one
We can arrange for your loved one to be wearing clothes you have chosen when you come to visit. Dressing the deceased in their own clothing is usually fine, though please be aware that there may be some exceptions, particularly for cremations. Our funeral directors will be able to discuss all the details and are available 24/7 to answer any questions you may have or offer support.
